Hi, I'm Careena, and thank you for stopping by! I'm the heart behind Surprise Box, a New Zealand-owned and operated curated gift box company born from a dream—literally. One night, I had a vivid dream about bringing joy through thoughtfully selected gifts, and that vision stayed with me. After excitedly sharing the idea with my husband, I began researching, brainstorming, and slowly building this business from the ground up.

What started as a small side project—selling gift boxes through Facebook—has now grown into something truly special. As a proud mom of three and a full-time Kindergarten teacher, I’ve always loved discovering meaningful, unique items. Shopping for others is my happy place, and creating Surprise Box has allowed me to turn that passion into a business that spreads happiness to others.
